Winter Skin Woes.

I've (re)found a not-so-new obsession. Body Butters! Body Shop always has some kind of sale going on, so it's good to check them out every once in a while. I was running low on my Coconut Body Butter so I went in, and I came out with 3 new ones. And with gold tin container. The whole thing is sitting underneath my Christmas tree right; it's a present for myself :)

Pictured: Mango, Sweet Lemon, Moringa, Coconut. And they also threw in a small sampler of their Shea Body Butter, which I will now have to get because I LOVE it! And scarf from Urban Outfitters.
Of course when I came home, I realized I wasn't actually low on the Coconut. I have the small size.... and a practically new big size. I think I'm set for the cold winter air. But I still want that Shea....

Wordless Wednesday. [11.30.11]

What's more comforting on a chilly night than being wrapped up in a big blanket with a big mug of hot chocolate? Being wrapped up in a big blanket with a big mug of Nutella Hot Chocolate.

...with Hershey's Milk Chocolate shavings for a complete chocolate overdose.

Muffin!

First official post, and it's going to be about food. I love food. And not the healthy eating kind too. My name is Gee, and I'm a junkfood junkie. And while we're putting things out there in the open, I should say I absolutely suck at cooking. I can't for the life of me cook a decent meal. But I'm a killer with baking. I LOVE the oven. What's not to love? You prep your whatever, pop it in the oven, set the timer and forget about it until you hear the *beeeep*. It's awesome.

Now the great thing about having search engines at our disposal, you can literally just type in whatever ingredients you have lying around your pantry and it will spit out a gazillion recipes that you can make with what you have.

That's how I came across this muffin recipe:

Banana Coconut Muffin

I doubled the recipe (except for the coconut, 'cause I only had 1 cup total), used really ripe bananas, used unsweetened coconut, and added about a cup of chocolate chip. I never would've thought of mixing coconuts and bananas, but it actually works. Definitely yummy. Next time though, I'd probably use less sugar 'cause with the ripe bananas and chocolate chip, it's pretty much overdose on sugar.

I think I'll let my bananas over-ripe more often.

Woot! Hello again, Blog-o-sphere!

Last time I had a blog, it chronicled all the boohoo's that went through my everyday life. I don't really want to do that anymore. Partly 'cause I just can't pull the emo vibe, but mostly because there's nothing to be emo about nowadays. So. This is me. A life of randoms.
